We cannot separate following Jesus and the Bible.

The Bible is Life's Instruction Manual

A MIRROR to see your life through God's eyes

A LIGHT to show what needs to change.

It's your COMFORT when you're broken.

It's your ANCHOR when you're drifting.

It's your OFF-RAMP when you're tempted. Psalm 119:11

It's your MAP when you're choosing.

HOW YOU KNOW THE BIBLE IS TRUE

Every prophecy/prediction in God's Word has already happened or is about to.

The willingness of the disciples to die for Jesus.

As time goes by, archaeology consistently confirms the Bible's historicity.

The brutal honesty of the Bible's authors.

The greatest evidence the Bible is true is changed lives.

WHY DID GOD GIVE US THE BIBLE?

It helps us understand who God is.

Zephaniah 3:17. John 15:15

It has the answers to life's toughest questions.

2 Corinthians 10:5, Psalm 119:105

It changes and transforms us…and the people we love.

Romans 12:2

Let it transform you each day.

Psalm 143:8, Psalm 59:16, Psalm 5:3

Don't just read the Word of God, let the Word of God read you.

James 1:22

Who will stand up and say “All this pain, all these lies, all this despair, all this abuse, all these addictions that have destroyed my family for generations…it STARTS with ME!”

1 Corinthians 10:21, Mark 9:42, Revelation 3:5

BIBLE LANDMINES TO LOOK OUT FOR:

Wrong priorities.

Psalm 73:25, Ephesians 6:12

It's not a book you don't have time for, it's Jesus.

Wrong teachers.

Don't write your own Bible
Do not return evil for evil, but blessing.
Love your enemy.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Find your life by losing it.
Run from sexual immorality.
Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.

The enemy wants u to depend on feelings. Answer him with these three words: IT. IS. written.
